“Go on John, he doesn’t bite. Much.”
I imagine this as Sherlock taking John home to meet Mummy, and then introducing him to his horse. Because of course Sherlock can ride. He probably started learning how to when he was 3 or something on one of the Holmes’ many horses. And then perhaps for one of his birthdays in his teens, Mycroft bought him a stallion of his own, which he promptly took to.
I imagine young!Sherlock spending much of his time in the stables with his horse because horses didn’t judge you for your intellect, didn’t discriminate against you, and most certainly didn’t call you a freak.
The horse probably would have been his one friend.
I owe you guys the 30 Day OTP Challenge, it’s coming, I swear. I’ve picked out an idea and everything. Till then, enjoy.
Ps. Does anyone want to name this horse?
